Edinburgh, The Rosslyn Chapel & Stirling

Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in Scotland in my opinion and maybe one day Zaira and I will move there.  The trip to Edinburgh was finding out the culture, what the areas where really like and how it is to be a tourist living there...   we took a day trip to Stirling and went to the castle,  Some little towns on the way and of course at the end to the superb and magical Rosslyn Chapel.  Its beauty is overwhelming and its creativity will really get you wondering.  Its full of History and mystery with speculation with the Freemasons and The Knights Templar...

Reykjavik Iceland

Reykjavik is the capital of Iceland, and the northmost capital in the world with only a population of 120,000.  It is beautiful, fresh, brandnew looking and has a friendly environment.  The people of Iceland only use the energy from earth to light and heat their homes, this also provides clean and safe drinking water for them, without harming the planet.

We were so happy to travel to Iceland in search of the northern lights, sadly the weather was very bad there and we were unlucky enough to not catch them this time but one day we will gaze up at them.  As soon as arriving we knew it would be great, we took day trips to the volcano which erupted last year, the destruction of ash is still visible in the area.  We saw a volcano crater which is frozen and very large.  We visted the Geysers which were beautiful and different to see and the best which was last, we saw the second biggest glacier in Iceland which is sadly melting fast, it was one of the most beautiful and amazing things we have ever seen in our lives!  The photos do not show just how beautiful Iceland really is...

In all it was freezing and we did have some bad luck at the start of the trip, a minor car crash with another car but we were all ok and carried on with our tour, also we got caught in the car whilst a snow storm was happening, which got us stuck for abit but we got out of it safetly :-)

We would defently reccomend a nice trip to Iceland if you can stand the cold weather :-)

Machu Picchu

Still feeling ill, we managed to get to Machu Picchu and do it, i was very proud and in that moment it was very special, it was beautiful and everything I imagined...

There is no words to describe a place so beautiful and photos dont compare to the real thing so you have to see it for yourself!!

Cusco & The Sacred Valley

We arrived in Cusco very happy but it turned out to be a bady night, I have became very ill here in Cusco with Altitude sickness and I caught a bacterial infection it seems from the jungle.  I spent 1 night in the hospital, having oxygen and medicine.  It was a horrible experience and very painfull, i was giving medicine to take and thought i was all ok but it seems not.  After a few days, we went to machu picchu and i became very ill again, sickness and dirorhea, I pushed myself to see the sights even whilst been sick but i was glad to be back in Cusco, where right now im still in the hospital, i will be here again for 2 days.

We have had to cancel our trip of south america, i am devastated but it has to be done for my health, we will fly to lima, then rio tomorrow to catch a flight back to Scotland, for me to rest and get checked up more and of course take my medicine to recover from this infection.

Apart from the drama of been sick, my beloved wife took care of me and has been by myside at all times, so thank you Zaira.  I love you with all my heart..

On a good note, Cusco was a beautiful city and i was taken very well care of, the hospital here is very nice, the staff are friendly, i have everything private and even tv and wi-fi, so its all ok.

The sacred valley was very beautiful also, everything is beautiful in life and here...
